Educational Qualification Required for UPSC IES exam 2023
1. Civil and Mechanical Engineering: Candidates must have obtained a degree in Engineering from a recognized university in India.
2. Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering: Candidates must have M.Sc or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject from a recognized University / Institution.
Age Limit for UPSC Exam
Age is another major factor you should check before applying for the vacancy; otherwise, your candidature will be canceled.
The age of the aspiring candidate should be 21 years as on 01-01-2023, and not have attained the of 30 as on 01-01-2023 ( not born before 02-01-1993).

Selection Process
1. Shortlisting

2. Written Exam
Online Preliminary exams will be conducted at various examination centers across the country.
3. Mains Written Exam
After qualifying Preliminary exam then candidate can appear for Mains Written Exam.
4. Personal Interview
The candidates who qualifies in mains exam will call for Personal interview.
5. Medical Examination
To check the physical fitness shortlisted candidates get invite for medical checkup.
5 Final Results
