Educational Qualification for Dharm Guru in Army
Before applying for any state and central government vacancy, you should know the educational qualifications required for the vacancy.
All Candidates must have completed their Graduation from any recognized university for appointment to the post of Junior Commissioned Officers. In addition, the candidate must possess the following qualification according to the religious denomination of the individual:-
Pandit and Pandit (Gprkha) for Gorkha Regiment – Hindu candidates with Acharya in Sanskrit or Shastri in Sanskrit with a one year diploma in ‘Karam Kand’.
Granthi – Sikh candidates with ‘Gyani’ in Punjabi.
Maulvi and Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scouts – Muslim candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.
Padre – Any person who has been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
Bodh Monk (Mahayan) – Any person who has been ordained Monk / Buddhist Priest, by the Head Priest of the Monastery. The Head Priest should be in possession of Geshe (Ph.D) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rabjam with a proper certificate from the Monastery.
What is the Age Limit for Dharm Guru in Army
