MASS Festival in Delhi
To encourage the GLOBE students and teachers in Asia – Pacific Region GLOBE Asia – Pacific regional Coordination Office in association with Indian Environmental Society is organizing Young Friends of environment Program “YOEF” in Delhi on the Occasion of Earth Day during April 2020 under the title “MASS – Motivating & Attracting Students for Science” . The program will be attended by the scientists, research scholars, academicians, youths including students and teachers, from various different GLOBE schools in the Asia – Pacific region other countries from all over the world.
The MASS festival will provide them a big platform for exhibiting their activities; students based related projects and other Earth Science related projects. There are more than 3953 GLOBE schools in Asia –Pacific Region. The active GLOBE schools from the region will be invited to participate in this program along with Eco – Club Schools in India. The event will be unique as the GLOBE students from the different GLOBE countries will get an opportunity to participate & interact with Eco –clubs Students in India.
The following groups from all over the world will be invited to participate:-
- Scientists from research institutions, educational institutions includinguniversities.
- Youth including students, teachers from different GLOBE schools all over theworld.
- Media Personnel
MASS will provide a platform for:-
- Interaction of a Student with Other student
- Interaction of a School with other school
- Interaction of a Teacher to other teacher
- Interaction of the teacher and students with the scientists
YOEF Registration Details:-
The school registration is mandatory. There is fee of Rs. 250/- per participant for participating in the Festival. The certificates will be provided in case the students and teachers will attend full day program.
